The Duster's engine range has been extensively revised with a view to reducing CO2 emissions. Among other things, Dacia will in future be combining the TCe 150 turbo petrol engine in the front-wheel drive version with the EDC 6-speed dual-clutch transmission in the compact SUV. In addition, the bivalent liquid gas variant TCe 100 ECO-G will have an LPG tank that has been enlarged by 50 percent to 62 liters, which will increase the operating range with the more climate-friendly LPG. Compared with its predecessor, the pure usable LPG capacity increases by 45 percent from 34 to 48.8 liters, increasing the range with the more climate-friendly fuel by 250 kilometers. The Duster engine range will in future comprise five power units: the TCe 90, TCe 130 and TCe 150 turbocharged gasoline engines, the TCe 100 ECO-G optimized for operation with LPG and the Blue dCi 115 turbodiesel. All engines are combined with the 6-speed manual transmission, the TCe 150 2WD also with the EDC transmission. The TCe 150 and Blue dCi 115 variants are also available as 4WD variants. The list of driver assistance systems for the updated Dacia Duster includes blind spot warning, hill start assist and, exclusively for the all-wheel-drive versions, hill descent control. Added to this is rear parking assist, also with a rear-view camera depending on the trim level. Also available is the Multiview camera, which makes parking and off-road driving easier with the help of four wide-angle cameras. They also make obstacles visible that are below the window line or behind the vehicle and cannot be detected by the driver.
