The new Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS - the fixed rear wing with gooseneck connection
The new, fixed rear wing with gooseneck connection and aluminum wing supports makes a striking difference to the exterior design. This particularly efficient wing principle is derived from the Porsche 911 RSR GT race car and found its way into a Porsche production vehicle for the first time in the 911 GT3. In combination with the body lowered by 30 millimeters compared to the 718 Cayman, the striking vents in the front wheel arches, the aerodynamically optimized underbody paneling followed by a rear diffuser, the multi-adjustable front diffuser and the new front lip with flow-around sideblades, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS generates 25 percent more downforce than the 718 Cayman GT4 in the performance setting reserved for use on racetracks. Modifications to the chassis also play their part in the increased performance. Ball joints tie the chassis particularly tightly to the body and ensure even more precise and direct handling. The adjustable suspension, which is unrestrictedly suitable for circuit driving, has been given RS-specific damper tuning and modified spring and stabilizer rates. The optionally available Weissach package gives the GT4 RS an even sportier appearance. The front lid, process air intakes, cooling air intake trims, airbox lid, exterior mirror upper shells and rear wing are finished in visible carbon. The titanium tailpipes are visually based on the exhaust system of the Porsche 935. The bolted roll cage at the rear is also made of titanium. The upper part of the dashboard in the interior is covered with Race-Tex. A large Porsche lettering is integrated into the rear window. With the Weissach package, 20-inch magnesium forged wheels can be ordered for an additional charge instead of the standard aluminum forged wheels."

The new Audi RS Q e-tron - Slow mode Driving
Clear the stage for an electrifying high-tech test laboratory: just under a year after the initial concept idea, Audi Sport has started testing the new Audi RS Q e-tron, with which Audi will take on one of the greatest challenges there is in international racing in January 2022: the Dakar Rally. Unique: Audi wants to be the first car manufacturer to use an electrified drivetrain in combination with an efficient energy converter to compete for overall victory against conventionally-powered competitors in the world’s toughest rally. “The quattro was a gamechanger for the World Rally Championship. Audi was the first brand to win the Le Mans 24 Hours with an electrified drivetrain. Now, we want to usher in a new era at the Dakar Rally, while testing and further developing our e-tron technology under extreme conditions,” says Julius Seebach, Managing Director of Audi Sport GmbH and responsible for motorsport at Audi. “Our RS Q e-tron was created on a blank sheet of paper in record time and stands for Vorsprung durch Technik.” The characteristics of the Dakar Rally present the engineers with special challenges. The marathon event lasts two weeks and the daily stages are up to 800 kilometers in length. “That’s a very long distance,” says Andreas Roos, responsible for the Dakar project at Audi Sport. “What we are trying to do has never been done before. This is the ultimate challenge for an electric drivetrain.”
The MINI Cooper SE Electric Collection
From March 2021 the MINI Cooper SE will bring even more hallmark driving pleasure to the world of electric mobility thanks to fresh design accents and new equipment features. The new MINI Electric Collection really sets the scene for the first purely electrically powered model by the British premium brand. The edition model combines the visual highlights developed for the latest edition of the MINI, such as the redesigned front end and the Multitone Roof, with exclusive design features in the exterior and interior as well as high-quality equipment details. A reduced design language now also ensures that the round headlights and the hexagonal radiator grille are emphasised even more clearly as typical design features of the vehicle front on the MINI Cooper SE. The scope of equipment of the edition vehicles includes the exterior paint finish Island Blue metallic, offered for the first time for the MINI Cooper SE. Alternatively, the new colour variant Rooftop Grey metallic is available. The MINI Electric Collection also includes the Multitone Roof, which is unique in the MINI competitive environment. With the aid of a new paintwork technique, the MINI plant in Oxford has created a fascinating colour gradient from San Marino Blue through Pearly Aqua to Jet Black, extending from the windscreen frame to the rear.
