Porsche Taycan 4S - third version of the electric sports car

After the Taycan Turbo S and Taycan Turbo, the Taycan 4S is the new entry into the electric model range. A single-story performance battery with a gross capacity of 79.2 kWh is installed as standard. The two-tier Performance Battery Plus known from the Taycan Turbo S and Taycan Turbo is available on request. Their gross capacity is 93.4 kWh. Output and range vary accordingly: with the performance battery, the Taycan 4S has an overboost output of up to 390 kW (530 PS). The top speed is also a uniform 250 km / h. The range is up to 407 kilometers with a performance battery and up to 463 kilometers with a performance battery plus (both in accordance with WLTP). The maximum charging power (peak) is 225 kW (performance battery) or 270 kW (performance battery plus). Breathtaking acceleration values, typical sports car pulling power and superior, permanently available power - the new 4S also has these strengths of the Taycan. With an active length of 130 millimeters, the permanently excited synchronous machine on the rear axle is exactly 80 millimeters shorter than the corresponding drive component of the Taycan Turbo S and Taycan Turbo. With two permanently excited synchronous machines on the front and rear axles, i.e. all-wheel drive, and a two-speed gearbox on the rear axle, the 4S has the main technical highlights of its model brothers in terms of drive architecture.
