The new Porsche 911 GT3 with Touring package - The exterior and interior details

Source: AutoMotoTV (Glomex)

As standard, this purist, 1,418-kilogram, 375-kW 911 GT3 comes with a 6-speed GT sports manual transmission. For the first time, the Touring package can also be combined with the 7-speed PDK at no extra charge. The most striking difference in the exterior is the absence of the fixed rear wing of the 911 GT3. An automatically extending rear spoiler provides the necessary downforce at high speeds and more understatement. Silver-colored strips of high-gloss anodized aluminum on the side windows are a further distinguishing feature, underlining the sporty, discreet appearance of the newcomer. The front section is painted entirely in the exterior color. The interior trim, available exclusively for the GT3 with Touring package, has a particularly refined look with extended leather trim in black. The front of the switch panel and the upper part of the door trim on the side feature a special surface embossing. The designation "Touring package" goes back to an equipment variant of the 911 Carrera RS from the 1973 model year. Even then, the focus was on purist 911 design and elements of a classic interior. In 2017, Porsche took up the idea and offered a Touring Package again for the first time for the previous generation of the 991 911 GT3. Since then, this variant has appealed primarily to lovers of high-caliber sports cars with a pronounced penchant for understatement and classic driving pleasure.
