"The power source is the advanced 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G four-cylinder gasoline engine mated to front-wheel drive, which can be combined with either a six-speed manual transmission or the six-speed Skyactiv-Drive automatic. The new cylinder deactivation system introduced in the variants with manual transmission, which deactivates two of the four cylinders in the low-load range and thus reduces fuel consumption, contributes to a further increase in efficiency. The direct-injection gasoline engine with a displacement of 2.0 liters develops an output of 89 kW/121 hp and a maximum torque of 206 Nm at 2,800 rpm. The particularly fast-responding i-stop stop/start system is fitted as standard. In conjunction with the manual transmission, the combined NEDC fuel consumption is just 5.3 liters per 100 kilometers, which corresponds to CO2 emissions of 121 g/km. The combined NEDC consumption for the version with automatic transmission without cylinder deactivation is 6.0 l/100 km and 136 g/km CO2. The Mazda CX-3 Skyactiv-G 2.0 meets the Euro 6d-ISC-FCM emissions standard."
