Frozen to the core - the CUPRA Born impresses at -30 degrees

It's deepest winter just a few kilometers from the Arctic Circle. In the completely snow-covered region, temperatures are around 30 degrees below freezing. Icy wind makes it hard to breathe. As indescribably beautiful as this area seems: It is truly not made for Central Europeans. And certainly not for an electric vehicle - or is it? A circular track can be seen on a six-square-kilometer frozen lake. For two years, engineers tested the CUPRA Born in this inhospitable environment. In the final development phase before its world premiere, the brand's first all-electric model is once again being pushed to the limit under these most difficult conditions. In the process, the CUPRA Born has to face a total of more than 1,000 tests at the coldest temperatures. They include 30,000 test kilometers by day and night. The goal: The CUPRA Born should achieve the best performance in all conditions.
