The new Nissan Qashqai - Improved suspension

Those who opt for the 2WD variant get a Qashqai with a twist-beam rear axle driving forward on up to 19-inch wheels. Compared to the previous version, a new upper body isolator has been added to the torsion beam to increase local stiffness and reduce the transmission of vibrations to the passenger compartment. A reinforced shock absorber, now positioned vertically, also provides even better protection against impacts, making rides smoother. With all-wheel drive and 20-inch wheels, which can be used easily for the first time in this dimension thanks to the new platform, the crossover has a multi-link rear axle: it ensures the best suspension and maximum comfort - even on roads with poor and bumpy surfaces. The suspension conveys a feeling of being connected to the road, and rolling movements are reduced, which is particularly noticeable when cornering.
