An important part of the test drives, which are important for determining the driving characteristics in winter conditions, takes place in the bitter cold of northern Sweden. Here, the developers' subjective driving tests meet objective criteria that they themselves have defined in advance. Use cases, such as emergency braking in winter conditions, form the basis of the test drives. If the developers want to tune and assess controlled, i.e. predictable and stable, driving behavior, objective ratings such as immediate deceleration and precise steering support the tuning work. In turn, directional stability, steering effort and deceleration buildup are criteria for an assessment system for ABS braking from different speeds on snow and ice. The results of the tuning work culminate in an assessment of the driving behavior, which the developers document in the form of a network diagram - a pattern that is applied model-specifically to all Audi models. The basis for this is how the vehicle and its individual characteristics are positioned and the relevant driving maneuvers and development philosophy are defined. An Audi can be recognized by these driving characteristics: Steering response, linkage behavior, traction and steering characteristics. The advantages of quattro are clearly visible in this way: the Audi all-wheel drive stands out from the average competition thanks to its particularly pronounced driving characteristics in terms of traction in curves and straight-ahead driving, as well as in steering-in and load change behavior.

EV6 was designed under the brand’s new design philosophy ‘Opposites United’, which takes inspiration from the contrasts found in nature and humanity. At the center of the design philosophy is a new visual identity evoking positive forces and natural energy, with contrasting combinations of sharp stylistic elements and sculptural shapes. Boasting a distinctive crossover-inspired design and based on the brand’s new Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), EV6 is Kia’s first dedicated BEV to be influenced by the new design philosophy, which embodies Kia’s shifting focus towards electrification.
Sportiness and sustainability do not contradict each other; in combination, they characterize the understanding of luxury in the course of electric mobility at Audi. The e-tron GT proves this with its leather-free design package. The sport seats plus with 14-way adjustment are upholstered either with a combination of artificial leather and the Kaskade material or with a mixture of artificial leather and the microfiber material Dinamica. Recycled materials are used in both cases, for example polyester fibers that were made from old plastic bottles, or textiles, or residual fibers from selvages. There are 119 recycled plastic bottles in each Kaskade upholstery set. The Dinamica material is similar to Alcantara, while the Kaskade material, whose seam design is based on the look of the Singleframe, is reminiscent of natural fibers such as wool. The upholstery of the sport seats pro is made of a combination of two types of leather. The RS design package comprises microfiber material on the hood of the instrument panel carrier, the steering wheel, and the center console trim, with red or gray stitching adding highlights. The floor carpet and floor mats are made from Econyl in both models. This material consists of 100-percent recycled nylon fibers from production waste, fabric and carpet remnants, or old fishing nets.
