The Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae - power and performance

Source: AutoMotoTV (Glomex)

The elegant lines of the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae belie the performance of this last model. The 6.5 liter 12-cylinder Longitudinale Posteriore (LP) engine delivers 780 hp to the permanent four-wheel drive: 40 hp more than the Aventador S and 10 hp more than the SVJ. The LP 780-4 Ultimae pays tribute to the instinctive character, power and performance of Lamborghini's Aventador models over the past decade. Three things should not be missing: the know-how gained with the SVJ drive train on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, which brought in the track record in July 2018; the technical achievements and luxury of the S model; the purity of the Aventador original concept. The grand finale of the traditional V12 internal combustion engine and the ultimate Aventador in every respect. The Aventador LP 780-4's unique, extremely stiff and lightweight carbon fiber monocoque and extensive use of carbon fiber throughout the bodywork contribute to its dry weight of just 1550 kg. The coupé version, which tips the scales at 25 kg less than the Aventador S, offers the same power-to-weight ratio as the SVJ of 1.98 kg/hp, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and delivers a Top speed of 355 km/h with 720 Nm of torque at a maximum of 6750 rpm. In addition, improvements have been made to the variable valve timing VVT (Variable Valve Timing) as well as the variable intake system VIS (Variable Intake System) to achieve an optimized torque curve. The CCB brake system decelerates from 100 km/h to a standstill in just 30 m
