The new Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA - Unique and timeless design

Source: AutoMotoTV (Glomex)

Among the distinctive features that have always distinguished Alfa Romeo vehicles is undoubtedly the unmistakable design that combines form and function in a targeted manner. Style must match aerodynamic and mechanical efficiency. This strategy is also followed by the new Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA, which further enhances the distinctive character of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio with specific modifications to the body and interior. The body features a powerfully sculpted front end with larger air intakes and carbon fiber elements that express superior engine power. Even the iconic heart-shaped radiator grille, known as the trilobo in Italian, presents itself as even more technological without abandoning its DNA. Reminiscent of the early days of Formula 1 are the vents that ring the badge to optimize cooling. They too have become a typical Alfa Romeo feature. The active front splitter, which was installed for the first time on the Quadrifoglio model version, has been enlarged once again on the new Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm and can be adjusted lengthwise by 40 millimeters. Another striking feature of this model is the large rear wing. Its aerodynamic profile, determined in the wind tunnel, can be adjusted four times, from very high to very low downforce. Carbon fiber side skirts, front fender flares and clearly visible carbon fiber on the rear wheel arches visually reinforce the vehicle's stance on the road and convey an image of power and dynamism. The 20-inch alloy wheels with center locks are specially designed to optimize not only style but also handling. Center locks are typical of Formula 1 bolides, but are a unique feature for road-going sedans.
