The new all-electric Lexus RZ 450e - Aerodynamic features

Source: AUTOMOTOTV (Glomex)

The low drag coefficient (cW=0.263) of the new Lexus RZ makes a significant contribution to drive efficiency. The shape of the cabin ensures even airflow around the vehicle, while the split rear spoiler contributes to handling and stability in straight-line and crosswind conditions without increasing drag. Another factor in reducing drag is the fully covered underbody. The ribbed surface at the front improves stability at high speeds, while the rear section is slatted to direct air from the wheels to the rear. The small radiator grille opening at the front is fitted with flaps that close automatically when cooling air is not required
