The new Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC - AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension with adaptive adjustable damping

Source: AutoMotoTV (Glomex)

The AMG RIDE CONTROL steel-spring suspension with adaptive adjustable damping, which is standard on the C 43 4MATIC, combines exceptionally sporty driving dynamics with the long-distance comfort typical of the brand. The basis for this is provided by the front axle with specially developed steering knuckles and suspension links and the rear axle, which also features elastokinematics designed for dynamic handling. Based on this, the adaptive variable damping system continuously adjusts the damping at each individual wheel to the current requirement - always taking into account the preselected chassis setting, the driving style and the condition of the road surface. In addition to improving ride and handling comfort, this above all enhances driving safety. There is a choice of three different damper maps ("Comfort", "Sport" and "Sport+").
