The new Toyota Aygo X - Efficiency

Source: AutoMotoTV (Glomex)

Low fuel consumption and the associated low exhaust emissions were among the key objectives in the development of the new Aygo X right from the start. This is reflected in numerous areas, including the weight of the bodyshell: It is one of the lightest in its class in the A and B segments and helps ensure that the Aygo X is particularly economical to drive. The front apron and front wheel arches deflect the airflow past the wheels. In this way, they reduce air turbulence along the vehicle flank, which has a detrimental effect on aerodynamics. The same applies to the rear wheel arches, which direct the airflow to a so-called convergence point at the rear of the car. The engine used in the Aygo X is the multiple award-winning 1KR-FE three-cylinder with 1.0 liter displacement. It complies with the strict European emissions regulations, impresses with a high degree of running smoothness and combines this with superior power development. The new Aygo X is a true European: It was developed in Europe for European customers and also comes off the production line in Europe.
