Er sicherte sich Platz 1 in der Qualifikationsrunde mit 25.60 Punkten. Knapp dahinter auf Platz 2 fuhr Fred Hope, der besonders mit seinen technischen Fähigkeiten beeindrucken konnte. Auf Platz drei folgte Maxime Chabloz (SUI) mit riesigen board offs.
