Sports director Fredi Bobic is leaving Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt at the end of the season. The 49-year-old confirmed this on Tuesday in the ARD program "Sportschau Thema". Most recently, it had been reported that Bobic was the preferred candidate at league rivals Hertha BSC to succeed the dismissed Michael Preetz.
