The all-new Honda Civic has been engineered to ensure that its e:HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) powertrain, steering and suspension deliver the engaging levels of performance, dynamic response and feedback that have always been central to the Civic’s appeal. The result is a car that blends a rewarding driving experience with highly competitive efficiency and emissions. Available later in 2022, the 11th generation Civic is the final mainstream Honda model to be electrified, following the CR-V, Honda e, Jazz, Jazz Crosstar, and HR-V. The car will feature the most advanced iteration of the brand’s award-winning e:HEV full-hybrid powertrain. This combines a power-dense lithium-ion battery and two compact, powerful electric motors with a newly-developed 2.0-litre Atkinson-cycle petrol engine, which achieves industry-best equalling 41% thermal efficiency and features a direct injection system optimised for faster and more efficient combustion and greater torque output. In addition to direct injection system, a number of technologies such as low temperature active catalyst, and a modified design on intake port help contribute to improved fuel economy whilst achieving specific output. The result of these technological advancements is a WLTP ‘Combined’ CO2 emission figure of just 108g/km (WLTP), with fuel economy an equally impressive 4.7l/100km. This exceptional efficiency is combined with a maximum power output of 135kW/ 184PS and 315Nm maximum torque, ensuring the all new Civic is a compelling driver’s car within the C-segment.

As part of its European market LCV strategy, Nissan today unveiled the all-new Nissan Townstar range of compact light commercial vehicles. The Townstar will replace the NV250 and e-NV200 in the line-up. Additionally, the Interstar and Primastar (previously NV400 and NV300, respectively), fill out the streamlined LCV model offerings. Building on the success of the Nissan e-NV200, a pioneer and leader in the electric LCV market, the fully electric version of the all-new Townstar, available in van and passenger versions, is optimized to meet customer needs. With a 44 kWh battery featuring an intelligent energy management system and battery thermal cooling, the electric model will offer a range of 285 km (pending homologation under WLTP combine cycle) and 245 Nm of torque. Coupled with advanced technologies and low running costs, the fully electric model offers an efficient, sustainable mobility solution. A refined gasoline engine option will be also available in van and passenger versions. The 1.3-liter unit is fully compliant with the latest Euro 6d-Full emissions regulations and produces 130 PS and 240 Nm of torque, offering power and efficiency in equal measure. As an important vehicle in Nissan’s LCV line-up in the European market, the Townstar is the latest to be introduced under the Nissan NEXT transformation plan, which prioritizes sustainable growth and profitability across the company’s global operations. Launch timing of the all-new Townstar (both gasoline and EV versions) to be disclosed at a later date.

For the first time, the Alpine A110 will set foot on Florida soil, celebrating its presence at the inaugural 2022 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix For this premiere, the A110 will pay tribute to this very special destination with a unique set of colours and customisations from the Alpine Atelier. Inspired by the neon lights of Ocean Drive, the art deco buildings overlooking Miami, the colourful sunsets and the city's vibrant music scene, the A110 South Beach Colorway will be available in two liveries, blue or pink. Highlighted by 18-inch white Serac wheels, this exclusive package will distinguish this unique theme, extending to the vehicle's interior: the "South Beach" floor mats will be embroidered in the colours of the liveries, and the blue and pink flags will adorn both the exterior and interior of the A110. Light grey stitching will finish the seats, the leather of the central console and will be juxtaposed to the specific flags of the dashboard.
