BMW iX xDrive 50 - high tech, unfortunately front seats are problematic

Source: Motorredaktion (Glomex)

Space miracle in the back, lacerations in the front? The all-electric BMW iX xDRIVE 50 is undoubtedly cutting-edge technology, we thought. But its headrests, with hard edges in the head area, worried us. Is there even a risk of injury here? Otherwise, the BMW iX xDrive contains cutting-edge technology. Impressive driving performance, in less than 5 seconds to 100 km/h - and up to 200 km/h. Regarding the range: In our test it was a real 400 km, we didn't see the over 600 that are supposedly possible. However, it can be quickly recharged if the fast charging station is free and supplies electricity really quickly. More on that in the video. What we noticed: Shorter people can hit their heads on the front seats, which can really hurt. Why there is a hard border at the point where the back of the head can hit the support remains a mystery to the BMW designers. It's a pity, this shortcoming - because otherwise the iX is a really strong BMW Stromer. All details in the test video
