The New Ford Tourneo Connect - A Versatile Multifunction Vehicle With Plenty Of Space For Family And Work

Enormously versatile, with convincing space, modern design and optimally networked: that is the next generation of the Ford Tourneo Connect. The completely newly developed multifunctional vehicle for leisurely families and for customers who also want to use their company car for private purposes will be launched in May 2022 with up to seven seats and in two body lengths. Retail prices will be announced in good time. Special features of the new Tourneo Connect include a flexible interior with a large touchscreen monitor and state-of-the-art assistance systems. Also new are an all-wheel-drive version and smart solutions when the new Tourneo Connect is used as a towing vehicle. In this way, the practical all-rounder is just as predestined for leisure trips with friends as it is for professional use as a maneuverable transporter for people and materials. An EcoBoost turbocharged gasoline engine and an EcoBlue turbocharged diesel engine are available in two power ratings for the new model. The highly efficient four-cylinder engines produce 84 kW / 114 hp (1.5-liter EcoBoost gasoline engine) and 75 kW / 102 hp and 90 kW / 122 hp (2.0-liter EcoBlue diesel engine). As an alternative to the standard 6-speed manual transmission, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic is also available for the EcoBoost gasoline engine and the more powerful of the two EcoBlue diesel engines. The 90 kW (122 hp) diesel is also available with all-wheel drive (in combination with a 6-speed manual transmission).
