The new Mercedes-Benz Citan - the right balance of sensuality and elegance - the interior design

Emotion and intelligence are the two core elements of the Mercedes-Benz design philosophy of sensual clarity. This bipolarity is of course also implemented in the interior of the Citan. With the full, sensually curved volume of the instrument panel, the Mercedes-Benz designers were inspired by the profile of a grand piano. The consistently horizontal alignment was decisive. The narrow wing stretches the interior and creates a generous feeling of space. The instrument unit is cut out of it. Their shape looks like a washed-out pebble. It is the functional heart of the Citan and comprises an instrument cluster, screen (option) and central ventilation nozzles. The slot created by the cut between the wing and the stone has the function of a practical shelf for quick access to important utensils. The ventilation nozzle in front of the front passenger is sensually shaped from the instrument panel, all four nozzles have a carefully and technically designed design
