The new Citroën C5 X - Avant-garde design that reshuffles the cards in the traditional D-segment

The Citroën C5 X stands out visually in a more traditional D-segment. The unique design and name of the brand's new flagship are inspired by the CXperience Concept unveiled at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. The silhouette of the Citroën C5 X is as striking as it is robust and aerodynamic. Features of a sedan and station wagon are cleverly combined with typical SUV attributes - a first in the D segment. The elongated hood, flowing lines and raised, expressive body shape underscore the dynamic appearance and at the same time are reminiscent of earlier Citroën models from the luxury class segment. The tailgate offers the functionality of an estate car. The wide opening and low loading edge make loading and unloading easier. The increased body and ground clearance compared to a sedan, as well as the wheels up to 720 mm in diameter, equipped with the 19-inch Tall & Narrow tires in most versions, allow a high seating position for greater safety and a better view of the road - a feature much appreciated by SUV customers.
