The new Citroën ë-C4 X combines the elegance of a hatchback with the finesse of a 4-door and the dynamism of an SUV

Citroën presents the new all-electric ë-C4 X1, which with an elegant design approach offers a unique alternative to hatchback and SUV offered in the compact class market. After the new flagship C5 X, the design of the new ë-C4 X challenges the traditional definitions of compact car bodies and offers customers something special: a crossover design that combines the elegant silhouette of a hatchback with the modern dynamics of an SUV and the combines the timeless sophistication and spaciousness of a four-door vehicle. Citroën is taking the next bold step in its ë-brand transformation as the ë-C4 X is the next model to be sold purely electrically in many European markets. With its 100 kW drive and a WLTP range of up to 360 kilometers1, the new ë-C4 X is the only all-electric vehicle that offers this combination of design, comfort and spacious sedan on the mid-size market. In conjunction with its spacious trunk volume of 510 liters, it is the ideal companion for everyday use. Customers who prefer a clean and efficient internal combustion engine in the EMEA and international markets as well as in a few southern/eastern European countries can also choose between Citroën's proven PureTech petrol engines and BlueHDi diesel engines in the new C4 X. The C4 X serves there as an important growth driver in the internationalization of the brand. The new C4 X models and the ë-C4 X will be built exclusively at the Stellantis plant in Madrid, Spain, for all markets. The market launch in Germany is planned for early 2023
