The Audi R8 V10 performance RWD - top speed of 329 km/h

Source: AutoMotoTV (Glomex)

The mid-engine sports car catapults itself and the driver from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds (3.8 seconds for the Spyder) and reaches a top speed of 329 km/h (327 km/h for the Spyder). At the heart of the new R8 is the familiar naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 FSI engine with its incomparable sound, lightning-fast response and immense revving power. In the R8 V10 performance RWD23, the power unit produces 419 kW (570 hp) and delivers a maximum 550 newton meters of torque, which is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 7-speed S tronic transmission. This is 10 Newton meters more torque than the Audi R8 V10 RWD23. A mechanical limited-slip differential distributes the drive torques to suit the driving situation, ensuring optimum traction even on wet roads. As with all Audi R8s, the body is built using the Audi Space Frame (ASF) construction method of aluminum and to a large extent carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP). The coupe version of the R8 V10 performance RWD23 thus weighs just 1,590 kilograms, the Spyder version 1,695 kilograms.
