Honda HR-V e: HEV exterior design

Source: AutoMotoTV (Glomex)

With its forward-striving character lines and smooth surfaces, the new HR-V embodies the modernity of Honda's current design philosophy, as it is also expressed in other new Honda models. The slim silhouette of the HR-V is characterized by the ground clearance that is 10 mm higher than the previous model and the roof line that has been lowered by 20 mm at the same time. The standard 18-inch wheels and the shorter front overhang also contribute to the powerful SUV character. The harmonious design is evident in the smooth surfaces and the design features integrated into the body shape. For example, the headlights, the body-colored grill and the striking lower air intake merge almost seamlessly into the front, giving it an elegant and bold appearance. A continuous shoulder line runs from the headlights to the taillights and underlines the dynamic forward-facing shape of the vehicle. The front and rearward-shifted A-pillars create a coupé-like silhouette with a long hood and a visually rearward-moving cabin. The well-proportioned rear combines benefits and aesthetics in the cleanly designed tailgate with a hidden handle
