The characteristic silhouette of the new Land Rover Defender

The characteristic silhouette of the new Land Rover Defender is characterized, among other things, by very short overhangs at the front and rear, which give the model excellent slope angles. The Land Rover designers gave the new generation an emphatically upright stance in the tried-and-tested manner - resolute, self-confident and purposeful. Added to this are distinctive Defender details such as the Alpine windows in the roof or a side-hinged rear door complete with externally mounted spare wheel: unmistakable hallmarks of the original. Another defining characteristic of the original Defender is its personality, reduced to the essentials. The new development picks up on this - for example in the interior with deliberately emphasized structural elements and fastenings that are normally hidden from view. This design trick emphasizes not least the uncomplicated and practical nature of the model. At the same time, Land Rover offers the new Defender 110 with five, 5+2 or six seats. The Defender 90 is available with up to six seats, and with the length of a compact-class hatchback family car.
