The Sport Response button, centrally located in the mode switch, switches the response of the engine and transmission to maximum performance for 20 seconds, regardless of the current driving mode. In addition, the PDK versions of the 718 Spyder and 718 Cayman GT4 benefit from the greater effect of their mechanical rear-axle cross-lock: in pull and push mode, it achieves locking values of 30 and 37 percent compared with 22 and 27 percent for the manual transmission.
