The Mercedes EQA - The Drive

The EQA starts as the EQA 250 (combined power consumption: 15.7 kWh / 100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 0 g / km) with 140 kW and a range according to NEDC of over 480 kilometers. The double-deck lithium-ion battery is a structural element in the underbody of the vehicle and has a usable energy content of 66.5 kWh. Further variants for special customer requirements will follow. On the one hand all-wheel drive models with an additional electric drive train (eATS) and on the other hand a version with a range of over 500 kilometers (WLTP). An asynchronous machine is used on the front axle. The electric motor, a gearbox with a fixed ratio including differential, the cooling system and the power electronics form a highly integrated, compact unit - the electric drive train (eATS).
