The Hoga 2023: Need for innovation in the hospitality industry

"Do not disturb" - the classic doorknob sign is a staple in every hotel room. A company has now developed a solution that allows room cleaning to be cancelled digitally via a QR code. The idea won the Gastro Innovation Award yesterday at the HOGA gastronomy and hotel trade fair. And that's not the only innovation currently being presented at the Nuremberg trade show. This cute robot is also designed to help catering staff bring and clear plates and dishes. Whether it's a robot serving food, liquid herbs or vegan scrambled eggs, the catering industry is coming up with a number of ideas to look ahead despite the crisis.
