Sandhausen: Around 6:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, a 33-year-old BMW driver collided with a 60-year-old Passat driver in front of him while swerving from the left to the right lane. Both vehicles came to a halt on the shoulder after the collision. The 60-year-old was not injured in the accident. Since the driver responsible for the accident was under the influence of alcohol, a blood sample was taken from the 33-year-old while he was still in hospital. The damage to property is estimated at approximately 50,000 euros. The right lane was closed while the accident was being recorded.
