The dry spell has come to an end: After more than three years, ProWein is finally taking place again in Düsseldorf, to the delight of the more than 5,000 exhibiting vintners and wine merchants. They are facing ever new challenges, expecting major sales losses due to inflation. But there are also positive trends: The export of German wines continues to increase and especially rosé wine and zero-percent wine are becoming more and more popular.

Since January 1st, 2020, there is an obligation in Germany to issue receipts. This means that everyone has to receive a receipt for their purchase, whether it is at the bakery, at the newsstand or at the butcher. The goal: to prevent tax fraud. But what does that result in?
