Middle East conflict: riots at rally in downtown Mannheim

Immediately after the end of the meeting, an Israeli flag was burned by a participant on the assembly grounds. The man was arrested and will now be charged with incitement of the people. The burning of a second flag was immediately prevented by the police. Further, people were arrested who held up a banner with criminally relevant content. In addition, several participants of the meeting were extremely aggressive against the stewards and the police. They threw stones and sticks at the officers, three of whom were slightly injured. Among other things, there is the suspicion of a breach of the peace.
