New Toyota GR86 - Interior - passenger compartment and luggage compartment

Source: AUTOMOTOTV (Glomex)

Toyota has consistently designed the harmoniously designed interior of the GR86 for optimum operability and usability of the vehicle systems. In the center is the prominent, horizontally designed instrument panel. It offers the driver a wide field of vision and ensures that he can concentrate fully on the steering wheel work. All controls put the driver at the center: Toyota's ergonomics experts have arranged and designed them so that they can be intuitively understood and operated. The air-conditioning control panel in the center console with its large, LED-lit circular displays and pushbuttons serves as an example of this, as do the armrests in the doors with their integrated door openers and long pull handles. Toyota has upgraded the central armrest between the seats with holders for cups and small bottles, two USB ports and an AUX connection. The new lid on the cup holder is striking: When a drink is put down, its two parts move to the side. When closed, it serves as an armrest. The 8.0-inch multimedia display also tilts toward the driver to provide a view. The left side of the screen serves as a multi-information area that displays audio functions, tire pressures and driver assistance system settings, among other things.
