Success for Audi - The e-tron GT wins the "Golden Steering Wheel" as the most beautiful car of the year

At the "Golden Steering Wheel 2021" the Audi e-tron GT2 won the "Most Beautiful Car of the Year" category. The winner in this category prevailed against 69 other vehicle models. Readers of the trade magazine "Auto Bild", its European sister titles and the newspaper "Bild am Sonntag" cast their votes in this renowned competition in the summer. The 45th presentation of the "Golden Steering Wheel" took place on November 9th in the journalists' club in Berlin's Axel-Springer-Haus. At the gala hosted by Barbara Schöneberger, Markus Duesmann, Chairman of the Board of Management of AUDI AG, was presented with the well-known sculpture for the "Most Beautiful Car of the Year". The "Golden Steering Wheel" is not only one of the most renowned, but also one of the oldest automobile competitions in Germany - it was awarded for the first time in 1976. In the competition for the "Golden Steering Wheel 2021" there were 70 new models to choose from, which were divided into twelve categories. The special feature: The vote for the "Most Beautiful Car of the Year" took place across all categories and could be determined directly by the readers.
