The new Mercedes EQE - the interior design

Source: AutoMotoTV (Glomex)

The EQE is the new business class from Mercedes-EQ. With this completely new vehicle, the designers had the task and the opportunity to break new ground in the interior design as well. They used this freedom and, in addition to the MBUX Hyperscreen, relied on consistent digitization and avant-garde design for many other elements. Like the EQS, the EQE is based on a large electric platform from Mercedes-EQ. For the designers, this went hand in hand with the vision of consistent digitization of the interior. The optionally available MBUX Hyperscreen implements this vision in a particularly impressive way: the entire instrument panel is a single, ultimate widescreen. This determines the aesthetics of the entire cockpit and the interior. The real glass seems to stretch out three-dimensionally across the entire width of the vehicle in a wavy shape – unique in automotive engineering to date. Under the common cover glass, the high-resolution screens seem to merge seamlessly. The graphic appearance of your MBUX content is coordinated. The MBUX Hyperscreen is minimalistically integrated into the instrument panel. Only a fine frame in silver shadow, a jet band and a narrow leather bench frame the MBUX Hyperscreen. The leather bench is reminiscent of the lower solid body of classic dashboards
