The new Kia Sportage - interior and space

Source: AutoMotoTV (Glomex)

The interior of the new Kia Sportage is a driver-oriented space with modern design, innovative technologies, premium materials and first-class workmanship. The central and most striking element is a beautifully curved panoramic display with two large-format screens (equipment-dependent), flanked on either side by sporty air vents. It extends from the driver's side to well above the center of the dashboard, giving the cockpit impressive width and depth. The left screen is the fully digital instrument cluster, whose 31.2-cm (12.3-inch) display with the latest TFT-LCD technology ensures a highly precise display. To the right of this is the navigation system touchscreen, also 31.2 cm in size (standard from the Vision version and on the plug-in hybrid, see Infotainment section for details), which also forms the central interface for the driver and front passenger for intuitive operation of a wide range of functions. Below the touchscreen is a multi-mode control bar: It contains two rotary controls and a row of sensor buttons that control both the infotainment system and the climate control system, and their functions can be switched accordingly at the touch of a finger. This double assignment makes it very easy and quick to operate both systems without having to dive deep into menus.
