The upgraded Audi A8 - reduction as a design tool - the interior

The interior of the A8 resembles a spacious, wide-open lounge - it offers open space and a sense of well-being. Its architecture is strictly horizontally oriented to emphasize its spaciousness. The design language always remains restrained. In the dark, the Ambiente light package plus (standard with Audi design selection and in the S82 ) elegantly stages the interior, and there are reading lights in Matrix LED technology for the rear. The range of seats and seat equipment in the upgraded A8 is versatile, highly comfortable and exudes a high degree of sovereignty - there are many options available, especially for the rear. The top of the range is the reclining seat in the A8 L3, which offers numerous adjustment options and a footrest on the back of the front passenger seat. Here passengers can have the soles of their feet warmed and massaged in several stages. The reclining seat package includes a back massage with 18 pneumatic cushions, electrically adjustable comfort headrests, a full-length center console on request - optionally with folding tables, 4-zone comfort automatic air conditioning and the new screens in the rear. A cool box including bar compartment in the Audi exclusive range underscores the comfortable ambience. The high quality of workmanship underscores the A8 interior's manufactory character. This applies to the precise perforation of the seat covers as well as the electrically opening and closing decorative trim above the air vents or the velvety soft leather of the comfort headrests. The seats are upholstered in Valetta leather as standard. Alternatively, Valcona leather is available in the new color cognac brown. A new addition to the range is the sustainable microfiber material Dinamica for the door trim, and optionally also for the pillar trim and the headliner. Also characteristic of the upgraded A8 is the wide selection of interior configurations. These include the Audi design selection in pastel silver and the S line interior in black, merlot red or cognac. Several leather packages and the Audi exclusive leather trim round out the range. The optional Air Quality package includes an ionizer and aromatization.
