The new T-Class is immediately recognizable as a member of the Mercedes-Benz family. Balanced proportions and sensuous surface design with reduced lines characterize the design. Muscular shoulders and pronounced wheel arches emphasize power and emotionality. A chrome radiator grille and exterior mirror housings, door handles and front bumper painted in body color provide exclusive premium character as standard. These are complemented by door sill trims with Mercedes-Benz lettering and optional 17-inch light-alloy wheels. The elegant Rubellite red metallic paint finish is also available for the T-Class. The small van combines compact exterior dimensions with ample space. The T-Class with five seats is 4,498 millimeters long, 1,859 millimeters wide and 1,811 millimeters high. A long-wheelbase variant with up to seven seats will follow. Other advantages of the T-Class that make everyday life easier and more comfortable for families and the leisurely: The low loading sill of just 561 millimeters makes it easier to load heavier items. Wide-opening sliding doors on both sides of the vehicle provide convenient access to the rear. This means children can get in and out quickly and safely in narrow streets and parking spaces. And loading can be done flexibly from three sides, including the tailgate. The sliding doors offer an opening of 614 millimeters wide and 1,059 millimeters high. The rear seat bench can be folded down as standard, so that it forms an almost level loading area with the trunk floor. This allows the interior to be flexibly adapted to the needs of the day. The luggage compartment has a tailgate with heated rear window as standard. Alternatively, a two-part rear door is available. Both door sections can be locked in a 90-degree position and swung to the side by up to 180 degrees.
