Milestone - 25,000 Mercedes-Benz eVans produced

Mercedes-Benz Vans is a pioneer and leading manufacturer in the field of electric vans. To date, well over 25,000 all-electric vans have already been produced. Top seller among the electric vans is the eVito followed by the eSprinter and EQV. Since 2010, Mercedes-Benz Vans has built up extensive expertise in the production of eVans, particularly with regard to flexible production on a single line. eVito, EQV and eSprinter run off the same production line as their counterparts with combustion engines. This offers the advantage that production can be adapted very precisely to actual market demand and no additional production lines had to be set up. With the next generation of the eSprinter, Mercedes-Benz Vans is consistently implementing its strategy and underlining its claim to leadership 'Lead in Electric Drive'. And: The course has been set for an all-electric future. By the end of the decade, the brand with the star will be ready to go fully electric - wherever market conditions permit. This means that from the middle of the decade, all newly developed vans will be exclusively electric. They will be based on the fundamentally new, modular and all-electric vehicle architecture VAN.EA.
