The ŠKODA KAROQ is 'state of the art' when it comes to connectivity: it features infotainment systems from the third generation of the Modular Infotainment System from the Volkswagen Group and is permanently online thanks to the integrated eSIM. Infotainment apps provide an overview of the weather report and current news or allow appointments to be managed. The KAROQ will be offered exclusively with a digital instrument cluster before the end of 2022. A digital instrument cluster with an 8-inch display will be fitted as standard. Optionally, it offers a screen diagonal of 10.25 inches and can be individually configured in many ways. The Bolero, Amundsen and Columbus infotainment systems are based on the third generation of the Modular Infotainment System from the Volkswagen Group. They enable digital DAB radio reception and are always online with an integrated eSIM. The Bolero and Amundsen systems have an 8.0-inch touchscreen and also receive web radio as an option thanks to the permanent internet connection. The systems are operated via a touch display, buttons and knurled wheels on the multifunction steering wheels, and the digital voice assistant Laura. With online support, it understands 15 languages. The top-of-the-line Columbus system displays information on a 9.2-inch screen. Map and software updates are installed 'over the air'. The basic Swing radio has a 6.5-inch display.
