"The new Fiat 500, the first fully electric car from the Fiat brand, has received the top score of 5 stars in the Green NCAP test. This makes it the first car in 2021 to achieve top marks in all tests, giving it the maximum score of 10/10 in the Energy Efficiency Index. The new Fiat 500 is an iconic car with a mission: to offer achievable electric mobility in the city, because "" it's only green if it's green for all "". This philosohie is part of Fiat's DNA. Sustainable mobility to ensure a better future for generations to come. Designed, engineered and manufactured in Turin, the new Fiat 500 is the first model in Fiat's history to be fully electric from the start, while being 100% Made in Italy. It sets the benchmark in terms of range and charging speed, traveling up to 320 km (WLTP cycle) on its 42 kWh lithium-ion batteries. When fast-charging at 85 kW, it takes just 5 minutes to recharge enough energy for a distance of 50 kilometers. To charge the battery to 80 percent, it takes 35 minutes. The version used by Green NCAP was a new Fiat 500 equipped with an 87 kW electric motor (118 hp) and capable of a top speed of 150 km/h (self-limiting) and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.0 seconds."
