The Volkswagen ID. LIFE - The interior design - plenty of space for digital life

The principle of a design reduced to the essentials also leads to innovative solutions in the interior of the ID. LIFE's interior, too. The design and choice of materials are based on modern furniture design and are deliberately limited to a few variants. A frame of form-following real wood veneer, the grain of which follows the contour of the component, encloses both the dashboard and windshield as well as the rear seat bench and the rear window. The symmetry of the two wood trim elements creates a harmonious look. The calm and homely atmosphere is also enhanced by the matching look of the seat surfaces and door trim in Artvelours Eco and Mistral color with decorative stitching in Ceramique. Headrests and door mirror cushions are uniformly finished in a subtly textured textile. A dark Rubber Paint finish for the entry area and an anthracite-colored high-pile carpet as floor covering round off the clear color and material concept for the interior of the ID. LIFE's interior. A few selectively placed color accents are added in the form of pull loops, decorative stitching and graphic symbols in violet.
