The focus of the new Taigo is on design, individuality and emotion. Equipped as standard with full LED headlights, fully digital cockpit and infotainment systems of the latest generation (MIB3), the almost 4.26 meter long SUV coupé establishes high technology standards in its class. The expressive body shape is so far unique in the model portfolio of the Volkswagen brand. With its crossover body style and coupé-like silhouette, the new Taigo - just like its Brazilian counterpart Nivus - has the best prerequisites to inspire new, predominantly young and young-at-heart buyers for Volkswagen. The technical basis of the Taigo is provided by the modular transverse matrix (MQB) from Volkswagen. Depending on the equipment, the Taigo has the new "IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights" and an illuminated radiator grille crossbar. The design of the Taigo is characterized by powerful proportions. The 718 Cayman normally has small side windows here. The new air intakes improve both the intake airflow and, at the same time, create a thrilling intake noise right next to the occupants' ears. The characteristic air intakes in front of the rear wheels have been retained and are used for engine cooling.

The new powertrain combines a 2.9-litre V6 petrol engine with an advanced electric motor, delivering a total of 536 bhp (544 PS) and 750 Nm (553 lb.ft) of torque - an additional 95 bhp in comparison to the Bentayga Hybrid. The new Flying Spur becomes the most efficient Bentley ever having the capability to cover over 700 km when fully fuelled.
