Racing Unleashed 2021 Silverstone (GBR) - Best Of

This time the "Sim Racers" raced on the virtual circuit of Silverstone (GBR). At the respect success of Christoph Holstein (SUI/Place 3 in the first-class Racer League) from Hünenberg, once again the dominant Spanish Sim Racers took the front places. Alejandro Sanchez won ahead of Coque Lopez. The Czech dominator of the previous season Michael Smidl's 4th place increases the gap in the overall standings. A piquant fact: Championship rivals Smidl and Sanchez collided in the very first corners. Sanchez lightly touched the Czech's rear and was sanctioned with a 5-second penalty. Despite the penalty, the Spaniard, who turned Smidl, was able to win the race and 2500 Swiss francs. Best German was Michel Angelo from Peiting/Bavaria in 9th place. There was another Swiss success in the second-class Challenger League: Jason Bläsig (SUI) won. This time, too, ex-Formula 1 and ex-DTM driver Karl Wendlinger from Kufstein/Tyrol presented the track directly from the cockpit.
