Source: AutoMotoTV (Glomex)

The first purely electric ŠKODA SUV is one of the safest vehicles in its class. In the Euro NCAP test, it achieved the highest rating of five stars. ŠKODA offers the full range of its state-of-the-art assistance systems for the ENYAQ SPORTLINE iV. Front Assist with predictive pedestrian and cyclist protection and Side Assist including Rear Traffic Alert warn of collisions with other vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians and fixed obstacles. Ideally, Front Assist prevents a collision completely in this way or minimizes its impact if the worst comes to the worst. New assistance systems further enhance safety: in the event of an imminent collision with a pedestrian, cyclist or another vehicle, for example, the evasion assistant supports the driver by actively boosting steering torque. In this way, the assistance system enables controlled evasive action and helps to avoid an accident. When turning left at intersections, the turn-off assistant detects oncoming traffic at an early stage, warns the driver and automatically stops the vehicle if necessary. When a door is opened, the exit warning system signals acoustically and visually via a light signal on the inside of the exterior mirror housings if another vehicle or a cyclist is approaching from behind.
