Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron - Augmented Reality Head-Up Display Animation

With the optional augmented reality head-up display in the Q4 Sportback e-tron, Audi is taking a major step forward in display technology. It reflects important information across the windshield in two separate levels - the status and augmented reality (AR) areas. The indications of some assistance systems, the turn arrows of the navigation as well as their start and destination points are visually superimposed on the real outside world as content of the AR area at the respective correct position and dynamically displayed. They appear virtually floating at a physical distance of about ten meters from the driver; situationally, they sometimes appear to be much further ahead. The displays can be grasped in a flash without irritating or distracting the driver. They are a great help, especially in poor visibility conditions.
