The new Dacia Duster - a choice of two multimedia solutions

When it comes to connectivity, hardly any wishes remain unfulfilled. Two multimedia solutions are available for the updated Duster. The basis is the new Media Display system with 8-inch (20.32-centimeter) touchscreen and smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto via cable. This allows the driver to use the familiar user interface of his smartphone for navigation. As an alternative to the phone display, the driver can operate the system using the multifunction steering wheel without taking his eyes off the road. It can also be activated by voice control. In addition to two USB interfaces, the Media Display also includes DAB radio and six speakers, including two woofers and tweeters each. As before, the versatile integrated multimedia system Media Nav with intuitive operation via touchscreen or steering wheel remote control is also available. Integrated into the system is a powerful navigation system with a high level of operating convenience and dynamic destination guidance. The updated Media Nav allows wireless smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto via Wifi. Vehicle information and consumption data can also be called up on the user interface of the Media Display and Media Nav. Added to this in the all-wheel-drive version is the 4WD monitor, which provides information on important off-road parameters. These include the lateral inclination of the vehicle around the longitudinal axis (roll angle) and the inclination of the vehicle on inclines and declines (pitch angle). In addition, there is the altimeter and compass, important especially when driving in pathless terrain.
