The aerodynamics of the Porsche 911 GT3
Mathias Roll, Engineer Aerodynamicist at Porsche, explains the modified aerodynamics of the 911 GT3.
Set off into a new, even more digital and efficient world and welcome home: the newC-Class stands for both, creating a future-proof comfort zone in all dimensions in times of global upheaval. The new C-Class is the first classic model series from Mercedes-Benz to be electrified throughout, thanks to mild hybrids with 48-volt technology and integrated starter-generator as well as plug-in hybrids. Thanks to a highly efficient battery system, it achieves an electric range of around 100 kilometers (WLTP) as a plug-in hybrid. This is unprecedented in this class. At the same time, it sets standards in sustainability. And because the C-Class is one of the company's highest-volume model series, this consistent electrification has a correspondingly large impact on the CO2 footprint. Technical refinements also include special equipment such as DIGITAL LIGHT and rear-axle steering. The sedan and estate will premiere together, can be ordered from March 30, and will arrive at sales partners in summer 2021.

AMG's foundation stone was laid back on 1st of June 1967. To mark the 55th anniversary of the performance and sports car brand, the production version of the Mercedes-AMG ONE is celebrating its world premiere. The two-seater super sports car brings the world's most modern and efficient Formula 1 hybrid drive technology from the race track to the road for the first time. The performance hybrid produces a total output of 782 kW (1063 hp) from one combustion engine and four electric motors, with a top speed capped at 352 km/h. The extremely complex development was carried out in close cooperation with the Formula 1 experts at Mercedes-AMG High Performance Powertrains in Brixworth. Born from the cooperation between Renault's French and Indian Design divisions, the Kiger show car is an SUV with an adventurous look exuding an attractive energy that catches both the eye and the mind. With its DNA it is predestined for the urban jungle as well as the great outdoors. At first glance, the Kiger show car stands out with its sculpted bonnet, slender windscreen and a semi-floating roof with a roof rack. On both sides, the tapered mirrors have been designed like airplane wings. At the rear, the roof drop is topped by a spoiler, giving the vehicle a very airy look. The lower section is more muscular and stockier, resting on four 19-inch wheels framed by large square arches that give strength to the exterior styling. The 210-mm ground clearance with reinforced lower flaps and prominent shoulders confirm the escape spirit of the SUV. The sporty side is accentuated by the dual centrally located exhaust tailpipes and the honeycomb patterns distributed around the vehicle.
