The new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class - plenty of space and a high level of comfort in the rear

The interior of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class builds on the completely new interior design of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. The instrument panel, center console and armrests form a sculptural unit, this seems to float above an expansive landscape. Up to five screens are available. Standard on board is a 12.8-inch OLED central display as a high-tech command center. A 12.3-inch 3D driver display with three-dimensional representation of other road users and striking depth and shadow effects is available as an option. The special look of the driver's display in Exclusive display mode underpins the special status of the Mercedes-Maybach. The surround of the round instruments is in the brand's typical rose gold color. This color is also used for the Active Ambient Lighting (optional equipment), i.e. the animated LED running light with intelligent comfort and safety functions. With Rosegold white and Amethyst glow, the Active Ambient Lighting includes two new color worlds. The "Welcome Rear" pre-staging welcomes passengers with a special light show. Adaptive rear lighting is making its debut in the Mercedes-Maybach. It adapts to the wishes of the occupants in several respects: In addition to brightness, the size and position of the light spot can be adjusted, and the light color (warm/cold) can also be selected. At the same time, a wide spread between precise working light and relaxed lounge light is possible.
