With the new Subaru Outback, the Japanese automaker presents a new infotainment generation: advanced functions meet an up to 11.6-inch touchscreen. This makes the large crossover more connected than ever before. Subaru has largely dispensed with buttons and knobs in the interior. Instead, the touchscreen, which can be operated like a tablet, functions as the central control element for all important functions - from infotainment to the Eyesight assistance systems and the navigation reserved for the higher equipment lines to the climate control and the heated front seats. Temperature, ventilation intensity and the three levels of seat heating can be set at the touch of a finger. In addition to DAB+ digital radio, the integrated audio system includes smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the top trim comes with a premium system from Harman/Kardon with CD player and ten speakers including subwoofer.
