Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series: as badass as a race car?

Source: Auto Motor und Sport (Glomex)

Mercedes-AMG is refining another model series with the Black Series label. The name stands for consistently sporty vehicles from Affalterbach. It starts in 2006 with the SLK 55 AMG Black Series, followed in 2007 by the CLK 63. In 2008, the SL 65 receives its Black Series designation. With its 670 hp V12, it is the most powerful AMG production vehicle to date. In 2012, the C63 Black Series appears, and in 2013 AMG crowns the SLS series with its extreme makeover. Now the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series presents the sixth super sports car, which delivers phenomenal key data: 730 hp, 800 Newton meters of torque, zero-hundred in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h. The car is supposed to be a real race car with road approval. Editor Christoph Kragenings finds out what makes the GT Black Series special.
