2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8.R Teaser
Chevrolet’s first mid-engine GTLM race car - the Corvette C8.R - made its surprise debut alongside the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible at the Kennedy Space Center.
"Spontaneous response, lightning-fast revving and a unique sound - the heart of the Audi R8 is its naturally aspirated V10 engine. In the base unit, output increased from 397 kW (540 hp) to 419 kW (570 hp), while torque grew by 20 Nm to 560 Nm, available at 6,200 rpm. As a result, the Audi R8 V10 quattro accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds (Coupé) or 3.5 seconds (Spyder) and on to a top speed of 324 (322) km/h (124 mph). In the Audi R8 V10 performance quattro, the 5.2 FSI produces 456 kW (620 hp) instead of the previous 449 kW (610 hp), and its torque peaks at 580 instead of 560 Nm. The increase here results primarily from an optimized valve train with components made of titanium. The Coupé sprints to highway speed in 3.1 seconds, while the Spyder needs 3.2 seconds. Propulsion does not end until 331 (329) km/h. The two naturally aspirated V10 engines with 5.2 liters of displacement receive a particulate filter. "

With three World Championships (including the 2022 and 2023 MotoGP titles) to his name, along with 40 wins and 78 podium finishes, Francesco ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia is one of the most successful riders in Grand Prix motorcycle racing. The lucky number 63 on his Ducati Desmosedici GP ties the rider from Turin together with Lamborghini, which was founded in 1963. Bagnaia is a big fan of the super sports cars from Sant’Agata Bolognese, so he seized the chance to be one of the first to take the wheel of the new Temerario High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) with a new twin-turbo Lamborghini V8 engine that can reach 10,000 rpm. Like a racing motorbike, it feels like it can keep pushing more and more: “I’d never felt anything like it. Rather than a turbo, it almost feels like it has a naturally aspirated engine with an enhanced intake. Reaching 10,000 rpm is incredible. I was astounded not only by that, but also by how easy it is to drive. It makes for a stunning combination.”' Bagnaia also appreciated the outstanding performance of the Temerario. Delivering 920 CV thanks to its V8 twin-turbo engine paired with three electric motors, it can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 7.1 seconds, reaching a top speed of 343 km/h.
With the new Audi skysphere concept, Audi is illustrating its vision for the progressive luxury segment of the future, in which the interior becomes an interactive space and the vehicle a platform for captivating experiences.
